Dyfed Archaeological Trust

Dyfed Archaeological Trust Limited is one of the four Welsh Archaeological Trusts. The Trust was established to advance the education of the public in archaeology. It is committed to working to help protect, record and interpret all aspects of the historic environment.

The Trust’s professional Archaeological Services team offers a wide range of commercial services, including excavation, evaluation, desk-top assessments, building survey, landscape survey and heritage interpretation.

The Management maintains the Historic Environment Record for southwest Wales. Currently over 43,000 sites of archaeological and historical interest are recorded. Providing a comprehensive archaeological planning services on behalf of five Unitary Authorities and others engaged in development and land-use change, in both the private and public sectors.
