Camp near New Cross Inn
A Camp, near New Cross Inn, overlooks Bwlch y Genffordd; It is constructed on the edge of a ridge so as to command the valley below. It is a simple earthwork defended by a ditch and a rampart which are incomplete on the steeper eastern side. The digging of the ditch involved excavation of solid rock in parts.
