Castell Mawr Llanrhystud
Castell Mawr, 200 yards to the south of Castell Bach, Llanrhystyd, is placed on the edge of an escarpment which rises steeply for 300ft. above the low-lying coastal plain near Llanrhystyd. Originally a circular camp enclosed by a single ring of defence it is now under cultivation and almost obliterated. A protracted period of search along the furrows over this site and in the fields brought no results.
