Camp North side of Wyre near Llanrhystud
Camp, on the N. side of the Wyre Gorge is a small earthwork of the plateau variety. It has been constructed on the edge of a ridge so as to utilise the steep slope for its northern defence. The rampart is merged into the slope on this side. The western side has a thick hedge of gorse. The camp commands a fine view eastwards of the Wyre Valley and of Gaer Fawr, and looks westwards to Llanrhystyd; It is also visible from Penrhos, on the other side of the Gorge.
