ANNUAL EXCURSION

Alltyrodyn, Rhydowen
A Grade II* Georgian listed country house near Llandysul built in the style of John Nash in the 1820s. ‘A Lloyd family estate from the C17th, the largest in South Cardiganshire in the mid-C19th’ (Pevsner). We will be visiting the house, gardens and stable court (with the anno mundi inscription) as guests of the new owners, Mr Rhys and Mrs Helena Kiff, who are currently restoring the house.
