Castell near Goginan

Castell, near Goginan, is situated just over the 700 ft. contour on Banc y Castell, and overlooks the Melindwr Valley. The ground falls away in all directions, but chiefly towards the south and west. The defences have been so badly damaged that it is impossible to make a plan of the original earthwork. The remains suggest that it was a small contour camp with two low mounds on the eastern vallum.
